The room was immaculate and exuded a homely charm, making it feel like staying at a friend's place. The comfy bed, clean towels, and lovely coffee and milk replenished daily made for a delightful experience. Plus, the location was just a ten-minute walk to the beach and a minute from the steam train station, adding to the magic of hearing the trains from the window!

On arrival, the room was freezing, and the heating wasn’t on—it took time to warm up, and even with extra heaters, it remained a bit chilly. Breakfast service didn’t start until after 9 AM, and there was some confusion regarding the door keys and access to the bar area. The steep metal external staircase for exit can be a challenge when carrying bags, especially in the early hours.

Upon arrival, the room was freezing, and it took a while for the heating to be adjusted. We struggled with the door handle, which was loose and made entry tricky. the steep external staircase for exiting with luggage was quite inconvenient.

the room was a beautiful disaster, with a toilet experience requiring an acrobatic act due to that sloping roof. breakfast not available until 9 AM, which is just unthinkable! absolutely nothing special about my stay, and I think I deserved at least a complimentary gift for enduring these inconveniences. almost wanted to leave a good review but just couldn’t.

Really enjoyed our time here. The double room was super comfy, and we even got a rickety old heating system that did the trick! Breakfast was on point, fresh and yummy, but starting at 9 AM made us rush a bit. Nice lounge area to chill too.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the cozy lounge in the evenings and the well-kept room that made me feel at home. There’s also a lovely outdoor space for relaxation and some games to unwind. Just a heads up, the breakfast hours didn't work for me this time, but I’ve heard it’s worth trying. 😊

Just a good pick for a weekend getaway in New Romney with good value for price. The room was spot on, very clean and ready when I arrived. Remember to ask about how to get out of the hotel in the morning to avoid confusion.
